    I Victoria Gaudette Brinius am interested in running for Board of Education in the November 2009 Election. I believe that I could bring a fresh new outlook to major issues. I also graduated in 2000, and am a product of the East Hartford School System. Not being that long ago, I believe that I can relate to the issues that the children of our town are faced with. Also I have done my student teaching for Childhood Education at St. James School in Manchester. Having taken numerous classes for the Education field, I believe that I would also be as asset, and be able to relate to issues that our teachers face every day.

    In closing, I would be delighted to serve our town of East Hartford in a different capacity, and would be honored to be nominated. I also know that if I am elected, then the East Hartford Republicans will have a strong voice on the Board of Education. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me.
